Interviews

This coming Thursday, November 8 we are holding interviews starting at 16:00.  At this time, I like to meet with all parents.  If you are unable to meet on this date, please let me know and we can schedule a telephone interview. 

Spelling and Quick Math

Our Spelling program will begin the week Oct. 15.  Spelling lessons will be sent home on Mondays and are due Fridays with the test on Friday.  Should your child be absent on test day, they will simply be marked as absent.  Spelling duotang must be handed in in order to receive the next lesson.
 Quick math also begins that week.  Your child should know what "fact" we are on each week and which operation (e.g. adding 4)

Welcome

It has been enjoyable meeting your children over the past week.  We will be having an Open House on Thursday, September 20 from 18:00-19:30.  I am looking forward to meeting many of you that evening.

Report Cards

The date for report cards going home has changed.  Report cards will go home on Wednesday, June 27.

Summer Attire

With the warm weather here to stay, please review the school dress code which can be found in the student agenda.  Also keep in mind appropriate footwear for the playground; flip flops aren't the best for running and kicking a ball.

Classrooms Care

Our class is taking part in the Classrooms Care program led by Scholastic Canada.  We are trying to read 100 books by the end of May so that 100 books can be donated on our behalf to a school in Canada that needs books.  Students have a tracking sheet to fill out once a book is read and we are keeping track of our progress on a poster in class.  Happy reading!

Ash Wednesday

The Ash Wednesday liturgy will take place at 9:40 on February 14th.  Everyone is welcome to join us.
