Fully Alive

A letter has been sent home regarding Unit 3 Created Sexual of Fully Alive.  We will be reading about the themes outlined in the letter in March.  Should you have any questions and/or wish to see the text that will be used, please let me know.

Welcome back after a well deserved holiday.  A reminder that students need to have their winter clothing, including snowpants, each day.  Thank you.

Scholastic Orders

If you would like to order Scholastic this month and want it to be a Christmas gift for your child, please let me know and we can arrange a pick up so that it remains a surprise for your child.

Interviews

Interviews are this Thursday.  At this time of year, I like to meet with all of the students' parents.  Please book an interview following the instructions that were provided with your child's Progress Report card.

Weather

With the changing weather, please ensure that your child is dressed accordingly.  They do spend 40 minutes outside during lunch.  Thank you.

Welcome to grade3

Welcome to grade 3.  On Wednesday, September 18th from 18:30-20:00, St. Philip will be having Program Night.  During this time, I will be presenting what we will be studying in all subject areas as well as class routines/expectations, E.Q.A.O. and class incentives.  I will be presenting multiple times so if you have children in other classes, you will have the opportunity to attend one of the sessions.  If you are unable to attend, a handout will be sent home.  I look forward to see many of you.

Congratulations to all of the students in the class who contributed to our reading of 100 books by the end of May!  Because of their efforts, Scholastic Canada will be donating 100 books to a Canadian school in need on our behalf.  Well done everyone!
