Boomerang Lunch

On Wednesday, January 25 the school will be participating in a Boomerang Lunch.  This means that students are aiming to bring in a lunch which contains reusable containers and does not produce any garbage.  Our previous Boomerang Lunch was very successful so, let's make this one just as good if not better!

Mass

Our class is responsible for the mass this Thursday, January 12.  It is being held in the gym at 9:30  All are welcome to attend.

Advent

     The school will be celebrating Advent.  You are invited to join us each Monday for our liturgies.  Please check the "Important Dates" section of the blog for exact dates and times.  All liturgies will take place in the gym.

Interviews

Interviews for the Progress Report Cards will be help next Thursday, November 3.  I would like to meet with all of my students' parents at this time.  You can use the link below to schedule your interview.  If you are unable to attend interviews or would prefer a phone interview, please let me know via the agenda.

Scholastic Book Club

Scholastic Book Club magazines are being sent home today.  They will be sent out each month.  If you wish to order from the magazines, please fill out the order form, check that you are looking at the Ontario column for pricing and send it in along with payment by the due date which is stamped on the order form.  You may pay in cash (exact change please) or by cheque made out to Scholastics Canada.  I have not set up for the credit card payment option and will not be using it this year.  This month's orders are due Thurs., Sept. 22.

Richmond Fair Volunteers

Our class will be going to the Richmond Fair this Friday, Sept. 9 at 9:30.  We will be going to the fair on the bus.  All students in the class present that day must take the bus to and from the fair.  We are in need of volunteers to supervise students.  We will be coming back to school in time for lunch.  If you are able to volunteer, please write a note in your child's agenda.  Thank you.
