Language

We are currently taking a closer look at adjectives and how they help to paint a clear picture in the reader's mind. We will also learn how similes can help in making our writing clearer and more enjoyable. Students will be using criteria checklists to ensure that their writing has all of the necessary components. Students will also be helping each other by proofreading classmate's work. During our UFLI lessons this month, students will be learning about the R-controlled vowels (ar, or, ore, er, ir, ur, er).
